Keyport Pivot 2.0: An Absolute Game Changer
Overview
The Keyport Pivot 2.0 is a modular key organizer that is made to clean up your keychain. Before having the Pivot, my keys were all tied to a series of key rings and frankly a jumbled mess. Keyport was kind enough to send me their stainless steel key organizer with a few of their many attachments to try out. And I soon found out that this thing was, what I call, an absolute game changer.

Key Features
The key features can be broken into two parts, the frame and the add ons. The frame is a simple cage feature that is held on one end by a thick rubber joint and on the other end by a skinny female and male bolt system. The only other piece in this assembly is the spring washer, which does an amazing job at keeping the assembly tightly put together while maintaining easy to use rotation of the items. The second key feature is the attachments. Not only does Keyport offer previously mentioned tools to go inside the frame like a bottle opener, lost key finder, or a yubico key, but the frame is built so other tools can snap on the exterior. These attachments are optional and not necessary, as the frame itself gets the job done. But you can add a flashlight, knife, or even a unique painted tile for some added pizzaz. It may seem like a lot at first, but once you start using it, you'll wish you dove more into the product.

Intimidating at first, the user simply opens the system and stacks the keys onto the smooth exterior female bolt. The spacing is made so all sorts of objects can be stacked: a house key, car key, one of their custom made multi tools, and last but not least a QR code strip that can be used to identify your keys if lost. Once the stack is complete, simply thread the bolts tightly until the frame is complete. This can be seen live in the YouTube video at the bottom of this article. It is slightly scary to stack over the end of the female bolt, but this is totally normal and easy to work with. Carefully fold over the other half of the assembly and thread the male bolt into the female. It sounds difficult and frustrating, but it is actually very easy.

Conclusion
I was fortunate enough to talk to one of the founders of the company, which is based in Las Vegas, and he and the team are very nice people. In my Youtube video, I say the Keyport is life changing. That's a bit hyperbolic, but it really did change how I carry my keys and I will never go back to the old ways. I even bought a set for my father and he really likes it. There are other key organizers on the market, but they seem to be unmatched in customizability that Keyport offers.
