Suunto Core All Black Military Watch
Overview
The Suunto Core Watch is a great watch for the outdoors and adventure. Suunto is a major player in the adventure/outdoor watch arena. This particular watch is NOT a smart watch, in that it does not connect to your smartphone. This watch also is not connected to any GPS satellite, so why even consider this watch? This watch is still relevant in today's smart world because it can do many things outside of telling the time, while having the battery duration life similar to a standard Timex Watch. This watch is perfect for the person that wants some essentials, like an altimeter or barometer, but doesn't want it to die once a week or need to rely on having 4G network. This article will quickly dive into the pros and cons of this watch and then will wrap up with overall thoughts. If you already own this watch (or will be purchasing it soon) and are looking for some tutorials, the bottom of this article will have a few YouTube Video Guides that will help you with the setup.

Conclusion
If you are someone looking to track distance covered on runs, steps made on a hike, or calories burned when out about your day, this is NOT the watch for you. I am a big fan of this watch because it is not a smart watch, which means you aren't bothered with messages from your phone and most importantly you don't have to charge the watch every week. I like it because it is jam packed with features that aren't typical of non-smart watches. The one major complaint I have about this watch is the strap broke quicker than I expected and Suunto's replacement straps are unreasonable, but the knock off one that I mention in the video below does a very good job and affordable. If you are looking to give a gift to someone (maybe yourself) that likes to go outside, hike (especially mountains), hunt, military, or just plain likes something simple, I think this would be the perfect item for them, I know owning this watch has been an awesome experience for me and I get a lot of compliments on it.
